Guarding the Rip

120cm (w) x 100cm (h) acrylics, original painting on canvas

One of a series of very popular surf lifesaver paintings, "Guarding the Rip" represents the many Australian volunteers who patrol our beaches. This piece would suit any beach house however this piece was specifically painted to portray the club caps of Point Lonsdale SLSC Victoria which is where I grew up and where my family still holiday and serve on patrol.

Signed in the lower left corner, the painting is stretched around a timber frame and the outer edges are painted black.

Title, number and signature is hand written on the rear of the canvas by the artist. Ready to hang.
